Your time and talent can help your neighbors live healthier, more prosperous lives!
Volunteers – both short and long term – help us increase our ability to serve the community. Like many small nonprofit organizations, we provide a wide array of services with minimal staff, and our dedicated volunteers make that possible.
LCH offers a variety of volunteer opportunities in our three different departments (Health Center, Community Service and Education). Providing help in these essential areas frees staff to work directly with clients and to fulfill other critical roles.
Opportunities include:
- Scanning patient forms and data into electronic health record.
- Assisting in management of donor database.
- Assisting in preparing mailings.
- Assisting with miscellaneous administrative tasks.
- Answering telephones and greet clients (must be fluent in Spanish).
- Assisting in teaching ESL or GED classes (evenings)
- Providing child care during ESL, GED or computer classes (evenings).
